So, um. I've never really liked Halloween. Last week would be a good illustration as to why, but I guess I'm learning that these things come and go. I hope everyone's all right, now. Still doesn't make any sense, but...

Anyway, as you can see, I don't do the dressing-up thing. Which probably means I'm not getting any candy, so I thought I'd go out and get some of my own. Anyone else doing the slacker Halloween thing?

There will be other holidays to really celebrate in the next couple of months. Thanksgiving is the next big one and I plan on having a big dinner. After that is Christmas and you boys can help me decorate the house for it.

[Two holidays she will never get to celebrate with Sam outside of this place and so Mary intends to make the best of them while the three of them are here.]

Just sort of...Buffy being Buffy. In my world Halloween is always full of whacky hijinx. In the City, it's usually worse so I'm prepared-o girl with the preventive measures.

[Dean is sitting in the living room of his apartment with several bags of candy. His mouth is full and he's watching some old black and white horror movie on TV. There's also beer in a cooler next to the coffee table.

[Since Sam is so pointedly not doing anything, he wanders over to Dean's apartment. Because Dean is pretty much categorically going to waste his time. In a good way.]

[Sam falls suddenly silent as he remembers a few short months ago. And a similar elimination game. Only it hadn't been greed for money involved. And Sam had lost.]
